My name is Kelly and I am a writer. I am a mother strong, I am a wife faithful, and I am a dreamer persistent. I am on a mission to take away the fear of putting my words and thoughts out there. Welcome to the tellings of my life, and of lessons learned. To the laughter, to the lunacy, to the lifestyle that I call mine. I let you in. I am no expert in any category in this world, but I am honest and I will try almost anything once.
Since this is a lifestyle blog, I document things that have moved me in some way. Food, fit-esque type things, being well, places in the world, Mama moments (check out my Good Mommings!), oil guidance, and good people are all pieces of the puzzle here. I occasionally endorse products on a need to know basis that I love because YA need to KNOW! I am also a freelance writer writing articles, interviews, reviews, and I always have a little secret project on the go. As we nest in our newest hockey hometown, I felt somewhat alienated just having our second baby boy and fell in love with how social media and blogging connected me to so many humans who are straight-up amazing and supportive. I am inspired by the many communities out there specifically the mom community, the sporting wife community, and the health and wellness community. I love to collaborate with fellow mama’s, bloggers, brands, small businesses, and friends, so don’t hesitate to contact me!
What I want for you is to feel inspired, to feel connected or aligned, to feel joy, and to share life. I am a Pinterest mom with a side of wing it, I crave attention like a golden retriever, and on the weekends you can find me in the arena cheering for my husband who happens to be a hockey coach and just recently added GM to his title to boot. I feel a literal high when I write, am terrified of flying, I’ve been taking pictures of everything before it was cool and I laugh my way through most of my day of mom-prenuering because what is the alternative? I am a firm believer that humour can heal. Life is good. Life has its moments. But I am fortunate. Welcome. This is Her Write Peace.
